Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino admits he will not select a new captain until the end of the transfer window, following the departure of Michael Dawson.
Dawson was announced today as a new Hull City player after Steve Bruce snapped up the centre-back for a fee in the region of £4 million. Dawsonb made 324 appearances for the White Hart lane club in nine years, but his departure now leaves the club without a captain.

Pochettino, however, insists he will not select a new skipper until the transfer market concludes and he has all the right players on board.
Pochettino told reporters: “We decided to let Michael go because it was the best thing for him.
“He would not get regular games this season.
“In the end we decided it was a good thing for him and us.
“I had to take a decision, but I wish him all the best. He is an unbelievable man and was a very important player.
“We have many leaders and we will decide in the next few days. You need many leaders in your squad. People will have to wait.”

Dawson won 34/75 tackles in the league last season.
